So how do I use an Ethereum wallet to put a non-Ethereum token into air-gap paper storage in my bank safe deposit box?
The same way you do it with an ethereum wallet. As tokens can be send to all ETH wallets. Do only way you see them in your wallet is by adding the watchcontract in the mist wallet for example.
You have to "watch" the token. These are the steps:
1.Open Mist
2.Navigate to "Contracts" page
3.Scroll down and click"Watch Token"
4.Paste in the contracts address (as posted in the creation annoucement)
5.You can name the token as you like.
6.Give it 16 decimal places and click OK
Thanks, Axente. I'm starting to understand.
@ICONOMI : You guys have got 10 days to come up with a PDF illustrated baby-step by baby-step guide for this on Mist and Myetherwallet that thousands of people will read.....

Run their software locally on a computer that has a clean, new operating system (OS) load and has never been connected to the Internet. Put the ZIP file on that computer via thumb drive.
