Your "loss" is someone elses profit. And if you don't sell for less than you paid, you too will profit. Unfortunately your timing was poor, to say the least and you are likely to be waiting some weeks (months?) before you see that profit. Read up on trading while you learn the reality of HODLing.

In order to avoid selling at loss it is recommended by the specialists that you do not store your coins in places it is easy to liquadate them. Just buy and hold outside of the exchanges.
