I ended up reverting to the old build of windows 10 (1500) not the current shit anniversary edition (1600) random shit kept happening with the new build so I reverted and won't be going back to the new one. Only security updates will be installed now on, which is cool, cause I told windows that it didn't work with my hardware, so it shouldn't try to install it again. For all the money they make, you'd think Microsoft would be able to make a decent OS  

If you want you can put your update setting on the option that you are on a metered connection then no updates will be done automatically you have to check for updates manually. I haven't done it my self but I know it works. The other advantage to the older 1500 build of windows 10 is that you can still set it to ask you to restart for updates and you have more space on the hard drive.

I've currently got 20 connections. so that's nice.
