The hour long wait while blocks are not found for an hour.
If you include enough fees, you will get chances for your transaction to be included in very next block itself. Sometimes I do see blocks are not being generated even for some 30 to 40 minutes also. But they are very rare occurrence, as we could expect blocks to be generated approximately every 10 minutes.
Yes if we add higher fees then it won't take much time for transaction to get confirmed, and I don't think that its an major problem at a moment as my transaction gets confirmed maximum in 15 minutes.
Yes but as it goes on more time will be consumed. I think it is because the ledger is being fulled and a lot of transaction are being made which cannot be taken care of those who confirm it.
High payments will really be out sooner to conclude the transaction faster.
Or are we just getting more impatient because we are used to faster deals?
