Coins don't die a slow death because they hit 1 satoshi (or any other perceived low price), they die because the developers stop developing for the ecosystem. That's not going to happen in this case.
We've hit a snag with our project-in-progress and need to do some debugging but we expect to be back on track shortly. Hopefully we'll have something ready to show everyone this coming week.

But how do you make a coin worth something ? Being around is one thing but doing what ? What further developements can be made to create more interest in a coin ? I don't know besides the dev leaving how coins get their value.
