No I do think this can happen.
In my opinion this is highly unlikely, but we will see what is gonna happen of course because the fact is that its not to predict.
The banks are controlling the world and they have a lot of power/money, that is why I do not think the bitcoin do it.
Banks will always be an first choice of people and bitcoin will be an alternative method for the payment systems and if bitcoin gains more popularity in future then it can reduce the number of user of banks but cannot make it disappear.
As bitcoin gains popularity and adoption it may be possible for more and more persons to give up banks in favor of bitcoin but I think this is going to be a minority at best.
