Is there a slack channel created yet for Singular? If not, is it being contemplated? Would be very good for the community.
Yes, slack channel should be on the way. The team is planning out new ways to keep the community updated and vibrant. For now we will have to stick with telegram till we get updates from the team.
https://telegram.me/singulardtv I think we should stick to Telegram only, because with Slack, chat history is truncated after a limit. Second, it's a hassle to register your email address all the time. And thirdly, Telegram tends to weed out the trolls because each Telegram account has to be linked to a mobile phone number.
That is not what I expected. Slack is the most popular way to have some sort of contact with the devs beyond the general twitter type posts.
Why worry about trolls at all, people are influenced more by trolls when slack access is not available.
