Looking for any Australians having issues actually being able to use a physical Wirex card within Australia without it being declined all the time. So far I think I have tried to make a purchase on every single banks EFT machine that is available to me and declined every single time. Can't even add the card to PayPal as the authorization transaction is declined as well...PayPal basically say it would work if the transaction was authorized.
So far Wirex email support has been extremely unhelpful and no idea what else to try.

What type of card they are issuing anyway? I tried to search for the card type on thir site but I couldn't find anything about it (apart from nondescript image of a card without a logo).
The physical card being issued is sporting a Mastercard logo and the issuer is stated as being Wave Crest Holdings Limited.
Conveniently I was able to add my card to PayPal about a week after making that post and it has been working flawlessly since so I'm happy at the moment. Not being able use it within Australia has probably been put in the too hard basket
