That is what exactly going to happen for a laptop if you are going to use that for mining and I would say if you are going to mine then it is better if you are going to use desktop.
As we all know the lives of the laptops are much more volatile and lesser capacity to mine than with desktops. You are just going to destroy your own laptop with it.
