so with all those zcash clone recently, someone can enlighten me? zcoin, for example they said it's use a better technology than zcash, is this true or just a scam coin that want to ride the hype before the official zcash launch?
Thats actually a good overall test for the Zcash tech, Monero was virulently attacked for years by presumably people or a group behind Bytecoin, theory later partially confirmed by a former

Zcash, they got the nerve of
mentioning ring signatures but not
Monero (or even CryptoNote or the original Bytecoin). Strangely I don't have a problem with what is clearly censorship because people should be able to write whatever and we should be able to point out the bs we see.
As it turned out, Monero is a major breakthrough in the cryptocurrency field, if Zcash is nearly as important evolution (which I don't believe) expect an all-out assault against any fork, mainly clean ones that launch without the corporate tax for mining.
