let's just hope the dev can deliver... there are many zcash alternatives, komodo launched a while back, shadow seems to be going strong as well and just yesterday wrapper was announced.

Komodo dev took btcd ico money and strung the community out for 2 years. Wrapper devs are anon and hosting an ico during the zcash hype for an undeveloped product (whitepaper won't even be released until December). Have fun with that.
