Gambling can be fun when you are with some friends because then you can have a good time and it is not all about gambling at that point.

that is true , when you gamble together say with some friends you wil not think to gamble for profit anymore , but you will think this is better to get have fun together instead chasing money.

you can do this not in real casino only , you can do it on online casino too so someone can remind you in case you go crazy.
