of course, different. trading is a form that requires skill. while gambling more rely on luck. many people fail to play gambling, because they were unlucky. You must be willing to take risks in view of all the action.

Trading require some skills but not a lot in my eyes because it also requires luck so I think that due to the fact its looking as gambling it is almost the same these days...

Trading does need both of it unlike in gambling you only need capital and luck. But for me, I would consider trading as gambling if it were for the risk, because trading is also risky and all types of investments are risky and that is just like you are gambling for money. And there is no assurance that you are going to get profit.

They are both the same  in the terms of risk because  on both ways you could  able to lose your money as  you said there  are no investments without  any risk and  all of them has. Because  if you  risk money you would  also get  money. The edge of trading  upon gambling  is   you could able to be profitable if you  trade smartly.
