If you have a lot of resources and have enough money to compensate your needs.. then selling your Bitcoins is not an really option. You should invest with your Bitcoins rather than selling. Just my thoughts. 
That's right, i have also same thinking, actually i have done, i hold my few bitcoins for a long time of period, and i have no mind to use them, even bitcoin might be reached on the top, but i want to prefer to safe them, may be after 10 years ago, i will sell them but it depend on price, Because main reason for safe the bitcoin its price.
