It will get worse. Much, much worse.
None of the newbies are investing .. so it likes like mining is done.
I think its still pretty profitable. Besides the Litecoin boom at the end of 2013, there really wasn't anything profitable at all since ETH started.
Profits might not be the same as they were in March 2016, but its still more profitable than mining from April 2014-Feb 2016.
