Duterte didn't mean he doesn't want to "be friends" with the USA anymore.
What he means is he wants to stop being too dependent, and being in these agreements that really only benefit the US
Yes,that is what he meant. An Independent Foreign Policy is good for us where we can decide where we can trade,purchase something we need in military etc.
Duterte's mouth is so noisy but what he says is not a Foreign policy.
Our country agreement with other nations remains the same unless it is reviewed by senate/congress.Yeah his decision is for the economy of the PH. I just it will give a positive response for the economy and for the people. Duterte's strategy is very tricky.
US is in panic mode lol. We Filipinos can now expect US movies were Filipinos are trying to bomb US and failed because that's how they tend to condition the minds of the people.
