Yes I can say that with confidence the bitcoin is gonna do this, I think the first country it will help is Brazil because they already have a lot of accepted stored right now.
How do you think that will help other poor countries? Brazil is one country, but I dont think other poor countries are even bothered about it.
They are happy without any new coin - why? Because fiat can serve all their needs. And that is where the discussion ends.
Necessity is the mother of invention - the poor countries do not need some cyber coin which floats in thin air, they need green hot cash and thats why bitcoin helping poor countries is far from reality.
