Gambling is just so addicting because of the fact that you can win money at the first place and because its a game and games can be highly addictive if you play them for a while and you find them enjoying.
Yes I agree to your statement but wanting for sure that is it is refers to money. Money is the root of all evil that is why people wants to gamble to have more money even if gamble is a sin. Gamble can destroy your life if you are addicted because it is refers to your financial stability in the future.
Money is just a currency or a legal tender that we can use, if you will look and believe that money is the root cause of all evil then it is not good to seek for the money, but money gives us freedom to do things that we want and it is known to us that there are things that are illegal and might harm us, so I believe that it is just right to call that we are only person controlling our future and it we will use money wisely we will not be able to call it as the root cause of all evil.
