Always, we list down the requirements. Prioritize the urgent ones. Complete the tasks. If in case something is left, then save them. I usually keep 20% of my salary for an emergency expenses, it can be for medicals or can be for purchasing unexpected things. My spouse at times sits with me and brings out plans for saving a percentage of my salary.
It's good you have a partner in life that knows how to manage your finances. Me, my wife and I cannot agree on how to manage our finances because I am not earning well in my day job, but we have kids that we are sending to school and that implies expenses as well, thanks to bitcoin it gives me an opportunity to earn in different ways.

This is the benefit you can get if you are married to a very good wife. Because there are some girls that when they get married they just want to keep on shopping like there is no tomorrow with their husbands money. And they don't even know how to save money for tomorrow. I think my future wife will help me on how to manage my money.
That's simple, you should make sure that your wife is good in managing your money and you can tell that if you are living together before you get married, you have a time to get to know each other and i tell you never marry a wife that is wasteful of money as you will never gonna be happy, you work hard she spends hard.
