In the near future, predicting that humanity refuses to cash. And it already means that all financial transactions will take place in a digital format.

As other post say, it would still be cash in digital form, remember that money is legal and was issued by the government to its people so I think even in years to come it will still be the same, although there might be a digital form of it just like in cards in ATMs and credit cards... But never bitcoin, it cannot replace money unless otherwise the government own the bitcoin...  Smiley
But the question is, how would bitcoin will replace money when bitcoin itself is not regulated, I think that is impossible also as the value of bitcoin is based on the fiat most certainly USD. That is a little complicated but let us not complicate things as it will never happen bitcoin will be the mainstream currency in the world.
