I don't think it will ever hit 3k but 1k 2017/2018 is possible
Bitcoin price now is really increasing in to the maximum level and now it's under of 650 $ dollars and when you are seing it it's not yet done or it's not end of the year and there are posibility that bitcoin price will be more than the price right now. And if the price hit on that prediction of your's then it much more better.
