Wow...It's been so long.  If I were desperate and in need of money, I would probably start thinking about getting a job.  If I could not find a job with my qualifications, then I would probably start thinking about receiving an education.  If I could not secure a formal education, then I would educate myself utilizing the free resources available to me such as public libraries and the internet.  If none of that worked out, then I would probably sell some of my gold.

Someone having gold, bitcoin or any other asset like this is obviously not in desperate need of money as they are something can be exchanged to money easily so in a situation where you have gold you are not in desperate need of money i guess.
that is right but there are some people who do not keep gold as asset for profit or any other income but they have gold as ornament/jewelry of their females so they cannot sell these gold for their income or other money for their needs.

You're right. In most poor countries, wages barely enough to buy food and pay the required fees. People do not have any assets that can be sold. So they borrow or rent out their jewelry to a pawnshop and getting poorer.
