I'm waiting for a Windows version. Linux is too much a real mess. Why are you complicating the life when something as simple as Windows exist

?He's giving away a free GPU miner and found it easier to use the Linux based source of Zogminer. You are free to install Linux if you like, you might even find it more pleasant than Windows.
There is another Windows based miner if you would like to use Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 18.5 sol/s on RX480) , or check the previous posts, there was a link to a compiled Windows version above.
