Those who said that sports betting is not gambling have not experience the same, it is apparent that when we put money to make money it's called gamble even if it is a game or not. Simply sports betting is considered as gambling since we are betting on the team we root to win to give us money.
Yes, any thing or object that you put to bet is called gambling but maybe the one who says doesn't experience that gambling so he can't be able to determine that it was a gambling .Lets say for example childrens game on Sports but they don't actually betting they just want to know who will be the winner and they have the advantage to the other person he bet . But on some poin of view we are not a children anymore so we can distinguish this things even you are not a gambler this is a common sense answer only .Even a single thing a cheap things that is bet will be called gambling.
