I would only give a loan to a person I know personally.
Everything else must be considered as gambling. I do not do that.
It's pretty obious that loans are too risky and it's always depends on the companies you are going to give some loans but if you are going to give a loan to person you know personally then it is a good thing but sometimes that person always took year's before he will pay you.

Sometimes the person that you know personally is having some instant amnesia and totally forgets the money he loaned from you.

So don't easily trust people when it comes to money, because money can just easily change the attitude of a person.

Trust me, because it already did to me, with my friends.

Thats  not   an  instant  amnesia  but  its actually  an  intentional  to  forget  the  due date   of the said  loan  and maybe the lendor  could possibly forgot it too so that they would not  pay  anymore and thats the  reality. Even  your   closest friends  would  definitely do this  to you  how  much  more  onto  other people.
