I'm sure this has been answered, and yes I did google a bit, but I'm having trouble understanding everything thats going on on the Bitcoinity.org charts.  It's mainly the bottom one.  I understand that the two diverging red and green lines represent the number of people who have placed buy or sell orders at a specific price, but I'm lost beyond that.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
