i usually go with a open frame(by the look of that site it seems that you want a standard gaming rig to mine..), h81 pro btc, g1840, 8GB ddr3 sniper, 120GB ssd, rm1000i and 6 x risers
then you simply choose nvidia or amd
Easy enough, and a good list. When that stuff arrives though, I need (I assume Linux) operating system on it, is there a good guide on how to get that set up and running?
EDIT: Also, with the EVGA 1300W, it has 6 8 pin slots. How do you power 6 cards if they need 2 connections each? Or do most cards just have 1 8 pin connector?
yeah that issue is a pain in the ass, in fact recently i only choose gpu that have only 1 8 pin or 6 pin, to avoid buying more cable, since no psu out there come with 6 x 6+8pin or six 2x8pin
