I’ve seen there has been quite a bit of conjecture about who mined the early blocks and some have said the devs may have instamined etc. This is not the case at least for the 251 blocks I mined.

I’ve put this together to refute the FUD, thank the devs and to ensure there is no black mark against the zclassic launch.

I managed to mine 251 blocks starting from block 4 - after closely monitoring the updates being published on the https://github.com/z-classic/zclassic GitHub and the announcement that it was live in this thread.

For those that would like to know - I used a combination of AWS cloud mining and a few local rigs pointed to sammy007’s zcash stratum-proxy directed a single local zclassic daemon node. This allowed me to mine 2,700 sols to a single node from block 4! - Nice work sammy - (contact sammy007 on https://chat.zcashcommunity.com/direct/sammy007 to see about buying his private zcash stratum proxy if your interested)

I believe you should be able to verify I own this address / private key by running the command on your local zclassic node


For those that will ask - I’ve sold a little on c-cex to cover my cloud costs and HODLin’ the rest - and I’m still mining now on a pool with my local rigs.
