I have do that before 3 months 
Maybe they did not take it seriously yet.
Maybe they haven't even heard of Waves, or did not even notice that Sasha trashed poloniex more than 3 months ago.
Who knows.
If waves team complete current road map in next months till the end of the year price will jump a couple of times.
All we can do is to wait time will tell
I thing that waves project is good for long time investment
