Considering that we are around the low to mid $700's now, I could see the price hitting $1000 by the middle of next year. It really depends on bitcoin in the media and public perception.
But I have complete different yet optimistic speculation here, I do not think bitcoin need more time to reach $1000 levels, so it may test by middle of next month itself. Yes like many people predicted, bitcoin may test $1000 price levels before end of this year. New USA government, India's recent moves against black money and celebration times will support bitcoins to continue its up surge.
Even I am hoping to see that price by next month, and bitcoin is gaining more attention from the people and many people are showing their interest in investing in bitcoins and if people continue to buy then I think we don't have to wait longer to see the price of $1k.
