I read that the Chinese exchanges were thinking about promoting eth or etc, not both
If they want to promote the Ethereum, they will promote the strong version with active developments.
I think okcoin said they will support etC.....
Not sure about okcoin, but BTCC is going to support ETC, and they call it ETH classic, compared with ETH fork
