sadly, electricity where i came from is extremely expensive.

Overall i have a better experience with Linux.

Is Linux more stable because the OS uses less resources than Windows?

I run on linux because i got better hashrate than windows. not sure if its because of the driver/resources. Everyone might have different experience.

Its a fact that windows will take more resources.

I have a feeling its because I had cross fire enabled when i was running on windows.

Since my rig is fine on linux at the moment i wont bother trying on windows.

I just use the latest version of ubuntu. In some cases the underlying software might have issues with a specific version so you will have to read the notes and makes sure you use the supported version.

For expanse mining I just used the latest and havent gone wrong with it so far.
