in the present day bitcoin transaction is slow.but if u are comparing that with credit card transaction it is too slow ..it may take some while to cope up with the same transaction speed with that of bitcoin .well i can assure that in the near future people will transact through bitcoins and it will be same as the bitcoin transaction and convinient too ..kudoos 
bitcoin transaction is ok and there is nothing wrong to it, as the problem is in transaction conformation, some time it take a lot of time to conform a transaction, as it also depend on the transaction free if yo pay a little high free as compare to the normal fee then the conformation become comparatively fast to normal transaction. but over all then transaction conformation problem should be solve in priority basis as some time it create a big problem when you are going for shopping and then doing wait for transaction conformation.
