hello! Im in a third world country and bitcoin helps me a lot, just have to know the secret on trading and stuff, electricity is expensive here so mining may not be advisable, but since bitcoin has been sloping upward, i was able to make money and planning to buy solar panels to help me with mining, so, yes, i think bitcoin can help poor countries

I am from third world country too, but I am thinking that bitcoin won't help poor people if they don't have an "idea" and don't have a "capital" to start with...
