It's like with any crypto project. They are all great in theory, but without getting adopted by the mainstream most of them won't survive.

That's where iconomi is in my opinion way better then other projects: they have a financial product, which offers an easy bridge between the large group of people who have no idea of crypto besides that that's the place where huge money flows and where the future is.

If the team succeeds with their marketing (PR team sits at wallstreet) and makes some deals with major platforms, magazines and so on to attract a wide investor base, I really see no point for your sarcasm. Pump and dump will always be a thing, look at the stock market! But this won't make ICN less valuable that it is.
