Bandwidth is NOT effectively infinite right now, because there still exists at least one entity or nation on the planet that has enough bandwidth and processing power to process blocks.

Before it reaches effectively infinite, it will reach effectively too much for anyone other than the one global mega best at it cartel to handle.
