No coins are lost.

Close the wallet before doing this.

Navigate to the following folder:

Windows: %AppData%/VeriCoin
Mac: /Library/Application Support/VeriCoin
Linux: ~/.vericoin

Or use Windows key + R type %AppData% and hit enter and find the VeriCoin folder


Remove everything from the %AppData% folder, except the wallet.dat (MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS FILE!!!)

Download and place the file vericoin.conf in the same directory (http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/vericoin.conf).

Start the VeriCoin client again, reload the blockchain and after that rescan the wallet using the file menu.

All your coins should be back now.
