New firmware did have minimal improvement in case of our S9-B22 that the fans run a bit more stable (at least for the 2 of 3 still S9s running of the ones we got 3days ago, 1 miner already lost and on its way to Bitmain, return shipping at own costs). However, the improvement is not much, we still have strong modulations in fan speed. Nonetheless, it doesn't remove the problem with unequal frequency distributions over the 3 boards in a single miner caused by the auto-tune firmware (or maybe boards, or maybe greediness) which is the main issue IMHO with these miners that is causing increased failure rates of cards/boards of the miners.
