My Mac wallet has been 'Out of Sync' for the past many days.

My Windows wallet syncs and stakes just fine. Has a lot of connections too...
Do you have connections? How many?
btw what does connection means ?? does it mean the number of people who are opening their wallet atm ?
during my first 4 or 5 days I was only getting 1 active connection , but after that I started to see 10 and more active connections
also when there is only 1 connection my wallet can't keep up to date with the blocks , I had to close it and open it in order to be updated
but when there is 5 or more connections life is really easier
my wallet is always up to date with the blockchain and staking is working really greatnow it's showing only 1 active connection
