Wait, the ban seems to be gone. The notification is no more there, and I can click on "new topic" of any forum, and "reply" in any thread, and I can click on "Personal Message" under anyone's avatar, and it brings me the compose page.

When I find something good to write in a thread I will try to see if the ban is gone for sure.

I hope it doesn't happen again.
