Follow this to hopefully fix it (forked?)

start wallet
get your wallets Address's (copy them to notepad or just go back n forth whatever)
goto help / debug
enter
dumpprivkey YOURADDRESS

you will see a line show up like

HJsfu778s89789sdfhJKHJKSDFgh7ihSDFHU89

or whatever. COPY that and put it into notepad or write it down. repeat for each address..

shutdown your wallet. Go to your datadir and create a folder called backup. Put WALLET.DAT in backup and delete everything inside of your folder (do not delete the folder backup or wherever you put the old wallet.dat, u need this if you messed up :p )

Now that you have deleted everything in the folder restart your wallet.

now you have a fresh new wallet.dat and downloading the blockchain from scratch. time to import your old address's

go to help/debug and type

importprivkey THEYKEYYOUGOTFROMDUMPPRIVKEY

repeat for each of the private keys you have. Let wallet finish syncing to blockchain. If needed close wallet and start wallet with command line -rescan.

walla new wallet.dat with your old address's
