V. Lace's Holiday Card "Contest"

What happened:: Recently, I called out on V. Lace for refusing to pay any participant in his design contest (see reference below). The user responded with this, a clear excuse to dodge payment. Because of the fact that one participant used a copyrighted image, he unexpectedly closed the contest to the others. I see this behavior unfit for a high-ranking member and that he deserves to be negged until prompt payment.

To prove that I made the image,

I'll explain how I did it (with pictures). To start, here's my PS document. Notice how the layers still have effects.

Just like with any project, I started with a gradient of red to give it that Christmas feel.

I then added a simplistic cup with hot cocoa, also associated with Christmas. I did this by overlaying circles of white, gray and dark and light brown to create shadows.

Because it still seemed plain, I decided to add foam to the hot cocoa,

a pine tree branch and holly using a brush preset and warp.

I also added Satin and Shadow to maintain the texture.

That's basically it. I hope my entry is enough to win the contest. Also, upon receiving the prize, I will forward the .PSD file, giving you rights to edit my work.

You can find the compiled step-by-step images here.

Who won the design contest? There was no more prior communication between the participants and you, leading to speculation that you have cheated us through the contest.
