Being a FB marketer, I can tell you that setting up an event is not the way to do it. Your best bet would be to setup a fanpage with a application tab with some interactive stuff for people to like the fanpage and invite friends to it.
+1 absolutly. having an event would be ok but not what we need right now.
personal i think FB is the devil and all should be wherry of it, but the exposure would make me more money
