I'm the founder of
http://freenetproject.org/. Freenet was the first anonymous P2P network, and the first decentralized P2P network, started way back in 1999. We were also among the first open source projects to accept Bitcoin donations, that was over 2 years ago (you can send donations to 1966U1pjj15tLxPXZ19U48c99EJDkdXeqb). Freenet remains under active development.
Obviously given my background with Freenet I'm very interested in anonymous P2P systems (Freenet being the first), and the implications of Bitcoins are fascinating.
I recently acquired a ModMiner Quad, mainly to do some machine learning experiments, but in the meantime I'm experimenting with some mining, just for fun - not profit (would have been a lot more profitable to spend the $1.2k on Bitcoins back when I bought it
