Just to be clear.

You are promoting that people invest in a project whose stated goal is to be an illegal site for distributing copyrighted materials.

You / the whatever site are asking people to invest using Bitcoin.

These Bitcoin payments can be tracked back to their owners, now or in the future, who then become a target for knowingly facilitating an illegal service. No. Worse. Receiving profits by virtue of having invested.

Prosecutor:  "I put it to you that you sent funds to an ICO address, knowing that the ICO was to raise funds for an overtly illegal website."

Defense: "Err...."

Prosectutor: "I put it to you that you were expecting to profit from the promotion of copyrighted materials and that you did in fact receieve some small profits from the illegal site you helped to set-up"

Defense:  "Err...."

As far as BitTorrent is concerned, that is a totally legal client. As far as I'm concerned, vTorrent is much the same.
