$215 per day is a pretty good money, you shouldn't be complaining IMO. Where I live most people barely make $12 per day. Btw if your income is low you can leave the Capital City Helsinki and move to a place where the life is cheaper.

The average wage is ~3000, which is just a bit more than that in USD, but that is a net wage, so if we subtract the taxes they should be left with more than $2000 a month. Are you getting money for doing nothing in Belgium? IMO $500, which is what they're getting right now for doing nothing, is a lot.
