If you need the money to pay the bills then how is it a mistake and why is it even a question?!

If you have chosen to get out now having held on for some time whilst nervous of the price going down then well done   You have done well and have now departed making it that much easier for others to get in the game.  If Bitcoin was for you just a fun thing to do for a while to help subsidise your time in college then good for you (assuming it was not against the terms of your college to use their electricity for your gain).  You were lucky to have done it at the period you did.  If you've sold all now then I guess you're not seeing the bigger picture which is fine.  I'll wish you the best with your future

Unless you're upgrading to ASICs chances are you're unlikely to be mining very much for much longer so maybe it would be an idea to expect no more fiat from the sale of Bitcoin and just keep the remainder that you get from mining for the long term - just in case the price continues to go parabolic.
