it's an interesting question this. is it easier to go from zero to $1200 than late hundreds to tens of thouands? 0-1200 requires way, way less money. at the same time getting into the tens of thousands is possible with many more people putting in less and taking less risk.

ultimately i think it's easier to find a small amount of crazy people with a burning passion than it is to transfer that over to millions more people, most of whom don't know how to count properly let alone know anything about monetary policy.

i guess that's the nature of the chasm that's mentioned so often. the hard core waits for the rest to either catch up or ignore it.
