NOPE it does NOT apply to devfees ! it changes to SSL to "secure" the fees
then when devfee round ends it goes back to so called unsecure.all this while mining has been around for so long WITHOUT SSL at all.
imo, not needed.
heh, for sake of arguments, go look & see at all MUCH bigger BTC pools.
as many said, end of the day, it's just basically a deal btwn the creator & pool made ssl & secures the fees.

I hope you don't go into the so called SSL "secured" thing. More are coming to support your pool as it is a MUCH better pool without SSL all this while.
