Friends won't give you what you need most of the time, or sometimes when you need their help, they also need it, that means you are alone, and the only thing you could use are your assets, you could pawn your things or use it as collateral to borrow money to anyone. Honestly, I don't trust friends when it comes to money matters, most of them usually change when they have money or you are in need, so you need to make money your self when you need it.
